Product Description


GRF solid fuse with high reliability for aerospace application adopts the solid ceramic material for its substrates. In order to ensure high stability of the fuse, silver paste or gold paste is selected for its melt material. When overload current or short circuit occurs in the circuit of the spacecraft, excessive current will increase the temperature of the melt material rapidly, leading to the melting. The melt material in the melted state will be wrapped and absorbed by special arc extinguishing material so as to cut the circuit and prevent arcing short circuit. The gas and plasma generated in the fusing process will be limited and sealed in the fuse. There is no risk of producing cracks and sparks in the process of fusing, no escaping gases either, let alone fragment and slag. A number of rigorous tests conducted to the product proved that this product can be used in various harsh environments known to human for a long time to safeguard the safety and security of equipments, which is a leading product in the world at present. The product can replace the fuse type FM12 made by AEM company of the United States.

   1. Cold resistance with 0.1In testing current to test, In is Rated current.

   2. Overload fusing time In -55℃ and 2.5In must ≤5s. 

   3. In -55℃ and 2.5In, Maximum Current Breaking I2t may be larger than the indicated. 

Calculate temperature is -55℃. Overload current is 2.5In maximum I2t, use the resulting of max fusing time to multiply I2.
